Hue Widget App Reviews

Slow!

The older version worked much better. The new one is confusing and adds unnecessary features. And this one is much slower. Before when I hit off they turned off instantly now it takes a second. Wish I didnt update.

I really like this app/widget but...

It constantly disappears from my Notification Center. The widget is there and active but all the toggles are left blank. End up having to close NC and reopen it for the switches/toggles to reappear. Can be annoying.

Ahead of Schedule

Previously I asked for a off button in scenes, but the new Hue app fixed that issue by having an off scene. Now, I know Im asking for something a bit ahead of schedule but I recently started using iOS10 betas. I absolutely love the widget but its broken on the beta. I think all you need as an expand button for it to work on iOS10! If you could get this done early for the betas, that would be magical!!!

Doesnt work!

Id give it zero star if I could!! All other 3 apps are connected to the bridge by this one never connected correctly! I wanna my money back.

Nice concept, FAILED implementation.

Worked in the beginning but no more. Cannot get it to connect and it just seems to endlessly search. Sadly, non paid apps work far better. Can I get a refund?

Great app

Great app but it might have a way to program how the ON mode look like.

Yeah!

Its my most used today widget but it makes the today screen laggy ):

This app is now damn cool

This can replace two of my current apps including the stock hue app.

Raw and buggy. Not ready for primetime.

Takes very long to discover the bridge. Doesnt control individual lights. OFF command doesnt function. Resets the scene to default white when activate ON command. New version 1.1 has no improvement. An attempt to contact developer at the email address provided bounced back. Not cool.

Works... Sort of

Allows you to turn all lights on or off from notification centre. Does not allow you to specify individual lights, rooms or scenes like it says it does. To the developer: if you say youve updated the app to allow for individual scenes perhaps add instructions to your website or the app itself telling the user how to do this. Dont believe the screen shots... This app will turn all lights on or all lights off. The worst part is that the lights only turn on in "concentration" light mode meaning the light is a very bright blue style light and not the default warm soft yellow glow of the "relax" or "reading" setting.

Rip off

It doesnt work at all. Dont waste your money.

Doesnt work

Paid $.99 and doesnt even work on iOS 8.02, just updated to version 1.1 and it still doesnt work, keep up the good work!!

Works great

At first it took time to set up, many problems but since then it works like a charm.

Extremely convenient

One of my most (if not the best) widget I use. Easily turn my group of lights (zones or rooms or the whole house) on/off. On every family members devices.

What a useless feature

Who decided that it was a great idea to have the intensity buttons to turn the ENTIRE set of hue lights!?!?!? When I press an intensity button, I want to affect ONLY the lights there already on, NOT to turn the other lights as well. Who was the genius??

Loved it before the updat

Why cant I import scenes from the Hue app by Philips anymore? I dont want to have to create all my settings for another app...

Widget

Since last update, the widget arent working, nothings connecting to the bridge, cant delete old Bridge.

Stopped

Worked great till new update and now I lost everything???

Dont update!

Bug needs to be fixed!

Not working anymore

Was working amazing until the newest update, wont connect to the bridge
